Rui 🕸| Demon Slayer

Tales of Twisted Fibers

Last month, after binge-watching Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, I looked up amigurumi fan art based on the anime/manga series. I found a cartload of Nezuko amigurumi followed by Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke but not a single one based on Rui. So, I decided to rectify that. The pic below stands testimony to my last statement. 😉

This murderous little demon was made using a combination of crochet, needle felting, embroidery and hair sculpting. By the way, I learned how to needle felt solely for this project [and it was mildly disturbing to realize how much I enjoy stabbing things]. 🤪

Designing the body was the easiest and the quickest part of the project. Then I had to put the project on hold just so I could practice needle felting with acrylic yarn; turns out you can make felting “wool” with acrylic yarn. So if you have always wanted…

Happy Birthday, Cynthia!

Tales of Twisted Fibers

Have I ever told you about a girl named Cynthia? If I haven’t, let me tell you, she’s the most beautiful person and the gentlest soul ever. Kind and patient, and loyal to a fault. Childlike wonder combined with the wisdom of a sage—that’s Cynthia for you. And guess what, her birthday is on Sunday, March 22! So, to celebrate my friend’s birthday, I’ve designed this little amigurumi bunny girl named Cynthia. Cynthia, the little bunny girlHappy Birthday, my dear Cynthia! I’m so glad the universe conspired to make sure our virtual paths crossed and we bumped into each other.

So any guesses on what Cynthia did on her birthday? She spent it with her best friend Maiya, exploring one of the old palace courtyards at the Patan Durbar Square. Cynthia, the little bunny girlThe girls wanted me to take a picture of them at Sundari Chowk, one of the main three courtyards of the palace…

Öko? Logisch! – Wattepadersatz und Aufbewahrungsutensilos

undiversell

I was soooo EXCITED and, obviously, the wizarding world never disappoints you! IT WAS EPIC!! Even though I have to say I like the first movie more HUHU this was absolutely splendid!! This story focused less on the magical creatures and more on the story, which made it entirely different from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them!! Newt is just so… AWESOME!! Like , , , , , WOW

It was a long time ago I have been able to relate to a character on this spiritual level! If you know me you might know of my admiration towards Jack Frost, and maaan Newt Scamander is on the very same level.

As a Hufflepuffler I have experienced a lot of shade towards my house. However, ever since Newt appeared…
